Traditional PSone NTSC-J and NTSC-U confirmed for Europe!
Today, Sony announces very a good news to us since the emulation of the American PSone plays and Japanese will be soon available on PlayStation Store Europeans. Within the drafting of Gaming France, one already thinks to be able to play Stopwatch Cross-country race which is a play at the time of SquareSoft available only to Japan or the USA or to even be able to still play Donpachi a game ever seen in Europe.

“We are very happy to confirm that American PSone emulations and Japanese women are in preparation to leave on PlayStation Store Europeans.
Some are already in the course of validation and should leave soon, without exact date of availability at present.
What does that mean for the players? Here key points:
- The editors who hold the rights of publication of the PSone titles which were before only available to the United States and/or Japan will be from now on able to publish them on PlayStation Store Europeans (provided that their classification correspond well to each territory).
- All the titles will be published “such as it is”, that is to say with the contents of the play in English language or Japanese woman when they are available.
- All the titles will function in 60 Hz and you will need a compatible screen 60 Hz to play correctly.
That also means that if version STAKE of title were unable to pass tests QA at SCEE, but that version NTSC is already available on PlayStation Store American or Japanese, we will be able to plan to publish this version in the place. One will not be able simply to take the US version and to publish it immediately, because the play must be reprocessed for the Blind European, but at least we know that the title should already be relatively free from bugs.
That does not mean that we will be able to publish titles which were not legally authorized for an exit on the European territories following the expiry of the rights, etc
